Richard Nicoll Spring/Summer 2011

Richard Nicoll is fast becoming one of my favourite designers showing in London. His typicaly bold and strong but beautiful and soft has won me over again, using pvc and leather to create structured pieces whilst combining with crisp pleats, sheer layers and completley chic, wearable pieces this collection really has it all.
As for the styling, the wet scraped back hair and the subtle mandarin eyes compliments the collection perfectly and the unusual ear accessories completes the style statement. The monochrome and the light nudes and pink colour selection is ultimatley on top trend for the season, all in all a stunning collection.

John Rocha Spring/Summer 2011

This collection from John Rocha is so spot on for me. This is exactly what I want to be wearing, firstly the shoes are perfection; Leather strap sandals and heels in nude and black. The colour palette of black, white and nude is beautiful and with the different textures of fabrics it really makes each outfit stand out individualy, I love that there is always a mix of menswear and womenswear with John; it shows a lot of diversity to the collection and I think that the styling for both is amazing.
Definatley one of my favs for LFW.

Craig Lawrence Presetation

Welcomed in with a film by Ben Toms, styled by Katie Shillingford, this set the scene for Craig Lawrence’s Presentation in the Portico Rooms at Somerset House.

Spicy Bloody Mary’s and miniature cakes were provided, whilst the models serenely walked around the room posing for any shots. I felt this was a really nice personal way to get to see the clothes as sometimes on the catwalk it’s there and then it’s gone in a flash and you don’t really get a chance to take it all in.

Craig’s stunning knitwear pieces are a joy to look at; shredded and threaded detail that is consistent with all pieces and a glorious subdued colour palette.

His inspiration is drawn from his childhood in Ipswich, where decadence and decay meet amongst Britain's seaside towns.

Uber WANT- Proenza Shouler Open Back Leather Boots

I really, really need these in my life.
I have totally fallen in love with them, they are the pinnacle of black boot beautifulness.
It is my birthday coming up but at the steep price tag of £645 on net-a-porter I just don't know if this is realistic. Oh well, I can dream...

London Fashion Week Shows

Belle Sauvage

Holographic print, extreme shoes, futuristic hair and really nice leather pieces made this show a great one to watch.

Bernard Chandran

The intermittent bursts of coloured feathers and crystals were well placed and the textures of black were gorgeous.
Hair and make-up was stunning and flawless -absolutely loved the subtle changing lip colour.

Bryce Aime

Some interesting textured silhouettes from Bryce Aime.
Thought the burgundy colour was lovely.
