I thought I would share the love and show you my last two days of Valentines lovliness.
First we walked down to the Columbia Road Flower Market, which is one of my favourite things to do on a Sunday, I can't recommend it enough, if you are visiting London you should go! That and the Broadway Market on a Saturday (which I also did this week) to make preparations for my gormet feast...

STARTER/BOX BAKED CAMENBERT WITH ROSEMARY AND GARLIC, ROASTED SHALLOTS, MIXED LEAF SALAD AND 3 SEED BREAD.
MAIN/RAINBOW RIBBON PASTA IN A CREAM AND PARMESAN SAUCE WITH ROAST VEG, OYSTER MUSHROOMS, SPINACH AND WILD BOAR SALAMI.
DESERT/HOMEMADE PLUM CRUMBLE WITH CUSTARD.
then pancakes & berries with cream and maple syrup for breakfast!

Columbia Road Flower Market

I meant to post about this aaages ago. When I moved to London back in August I found out that our flat was a stones throw away from the beautiful Columbia Road Flower Market. So the first Sunday after moving we wandered down and looked at all of the gorgeous summery plants, flowers and herbs and brought back lots of fresh goodies for our balcony. Looking forward to now; the bitter cold wintery weather has sabotaged most of our little greeney and of course the flowers are long gone, but some of the herbs are still going strong and we have a pepper still holding on for dear life. The market is really great to visit any time of year and also the actual shops on Columbia Road have a lot to offer, including cute vintage and antique shops, an adorable cafe in the back of a crockery shop and apparently the best cupcakes in East London from Treacle. You can see all of the shops and more here.
