Nuit à La Tour

 Ah la nuit.

The Eiffel Tower- or as the locals call it Le Tour, is about a hundred times more beautiful at night, the golden glow is just magnifique, plus every hour on the hour the gold shuts off and it sparkles...

After a miniature fiasco of finding somewhere to eat- can it really be that difficult near the Eiffel Tower? YES and of course it's August- all of the Parisian's are on holiday! So myself and the Fashion Dad decided to go at midnight with a few petit bottles of vino and look up at the spectacle, we ended up seeing the 'finale sparkle' at 1am which afterwards Le Tour reverted back to it's un-lit, bronzed state.

J'adore Paris!

New Style Post ~ Le Blanche Neige

Another outfit of white, white and more white; with a hint of noir. My favourite colour combo for the summer and this Ann D skirt which is my favourite item at the moment, is the perfect piece of white that everyone should have in their wardrobe.
These pictures were taken in the gorgeous little city of Bath just after Charlie and I had gone to the spa for her belated birthday treat (hence the semi-damp 'beach hair' look)

New Style Post ~ Clinical White

These pictures were taken in the abandoned Mildmay hospital just behind our flat in Shoreditch, it was so creepy but really cool to get to look around. As it used to be a HIV hospital and there were lots of weird contraptions that had just been left there, not to mention the creepy toys left around and the odd medical equipment. It was a fluke that I happened to be wearing all white that day but it matches perfectly with the setting, Charlie's sense of adventure took us further into the building, including the morgue which just happened to be the darkest area of the whole place. I was so creeped out but loved it, hope we can find some more interesting locations for our outfit posts in the future! Thanks to Charlie for taking the pictures :)

The City Of Antwerp

 LE PAIN QUOTIDIEN

More images from the glorious city of ANTWERP, a mixture of photos from both days and photos of me courtesy of Charlie a la mode. When Clara arrived on our second day we went for breakfast in the delightful Le Pain Quotidien, my fave place for a perfectly executed dippy egg. Drinking the spectacular range of Belium beers are always a highlight, they just do beer like no other and are always perfectly presented with the matching glass and bottle facing you, the image of the Tripel beer was 8% in alcohol and got us rather tipsy, the place we had this in was an amazing pub crammed full with religious statues of every size, even in the loos!
