The Beautiful People

Jon Kortajarena and Dree Hemingway. Possibly two of the most beautiful people in the world, and I have a complete crush on both of them right now.
The smoking hot, sexy spanish SeƱor and the sultry american stunner shot by Sebastian Faena and styled by Mary Fellowes for the July issue of Vogue Turkey, are a match made in fashion heaven. I only just learned that he is the super hot guy in A Single Man that Colin Firth meets at a gas station and she is the great-granddaughter of Ernest Hemingway. So cool it hurts.
This editorial is amazing and has such a warmth to it that goes beyond posing in some nice clothes, the pair look so beautifully and effortlessly stylish and comfortable, I love it's snapshot style and anyone who has ever been in love can relate to these images. My favourite is the one at the top; Dree in the orange sweater, hands on the frowning Jon, it is very full of emotion for me.

Things I'm Loving ~ Big Brows A La Audrey Hepburn

Audrey Hepburn pioneered the big brow look, with her dark Belgian features and flawlessly creamy skin she was the perfect model of beauty.

Audrey's balance of masculinity and femininity makes her a true icon for style, both on and off the screen always looking delicate and glamourous with a powerful edge.

Meeting Hubert de Givenchy on the set of the film Sabrina sparked a true fashion relationship, Hubert and Audrey became great friends and she became his muse, Givenchy once said "Her measurements have not changed an inch in thirty-five years." To which Audrey replied, "I have many things in common with Hubert. We like the same things."

Undeniably one of the greatest female stars of all time, Audrey Hepburn is still a true inspiration for women, and her legacy will be infinite.

I Don't Speak German But I can If You Like ~ Helmut Newton

If sexual prowess could be photographed, Helmut Newton is the guy to do it. I adore his delectable images dripping with sex appeal, the feeling that there is always a masculine presence, whether it be a shadow, an androgynous edge or merely a man in shot is sexy, exciting and pleasurable.
I enjoy the subtle male suggestion alongside the powerful female figures,
the voyeuristic fantasy can be entirely imagined, yet the photographs always ooze class and sophistication and never display a deep perversion.
Although the women dominate the pictures, Newton maintains a level of control from behind the lens, he really captures women in a beautiful way, with real strength in both mind and body whilst also displaying their fragility, I feel as if their thoughts could be stolen and kept prisoner, like a photograph freezes time and captures the moment and all emotion with it.
