Absolutley stunning new collection by the brilliant Dominic Jones. By far my favourite jewellery designer of the moment, I love everything he makes! I was lucky enough to assist on the Garage Magazine shoot where he transformed fresh flowers into jewelley pieces, check out the mag for the editorial styled by the lovely and amazing Francesca Burns and shot by the wonderful Angelo Pennetta.
This presentation was so fun and relaxed, delicious fruity Absolut cocktails were on hand while the short film featuring the latest collection screened in the room at the end whilst everyone fawned over the new metal delights in the lit room with the new collection showcasde upon small black box plinths. My favourite pieces (that are now on my wishlist for sure) are the rose gold ring that looks like an Egyptian eye and the ring that looks a bit like an open beak/lotus flower (apologies for the rubbish description) in the dark silver colour.
It was an absolute pleasure to get to see The Alpines perform, and especially my favourite song by them that featured on Hannah Marshall's Fashion Film last season shot by Rankin.
