Eliza Doolittle and Paloma Faith at The Hammersmith Apollo

Thanks again to Glaceau Vitamin water for sending me and Charlie to see these two very talented girls at the Hammersmith Apollo.
First up was rising star Eliza Doolittle, her sweet but strong voice sounded great live and it was really nice to see a live band accompanying her with a drummer, a guitarist, a keyboardist and a guy on a double bass.

Next up was the gorgeous Paloma Faith, her outfits were fantastic, the stage had a wonderful whimsical garden theme and her performance along with her band was outstanding. She played a mixture of her current songs, some really great new ones and some fantastic covers, including a beautiful version of Nick Cave's "into My Arms".

A really great show all round, keep your eyes out for up and coming single "Rollerblades" from Eliza and I have no doubts that Paloma will carry on getting bigger and better in the future. Paloma will be releasing a new album, and I quote "When I've finished writing it..."
